The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended two individuals in relation to a case of criminal collusion and store burglary at Kilimi Village, situated in the Michika Local Government Area.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, announced in a statement on Saturday that the arrests were made based on reliable intelligence regarding a break-in on September 5th, 2025, during which the suspects unlawfully entered a phone accessory retail shop and made off with valuable goods.
“Responding promptly to the information, our operatives from the Gombi Divisional Police Headquarters acted swiftly to detain the suspects, who were found with stolen items, which included mobile devices, an MP3 player, a DP light, and a rechargeable table fan, among other things,” he explained.
The suspects have been named as Hassan Adamu, 25, and Daniel Ishaya, 30, both inhabitants of Michika Town.
“Upon interrogation, the suspects admitted to the offense and will face charges in court following the conclusion of the investigation,” the statement indicated.
The statement also mentioned that the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, praised the operatives for their rapid response and reassured the public of the command’s dedication to safeguarding lives and properties in Adamawa State.
