In a heartwarming display of generosity and commitment to community development, Nigeria Super Eagles and AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze, has empowered 20 young persons in his hometown, Okoko Item in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, with brand new tricycles.
The initiative, aimed at providing a sustainable means of livelihood for the beneficiaries, is part of Chukwueze’s personal drive to give back to the community that raised him.
Each of the 20 selected individuals received a new tricycle, popularly known as Keke Napep, which is expected to serve as a source of income and economic empowerment.
According to community members, the gesture has been met with widespread appreciation and excitement, with many hailing Chukwueze for remembering his roots despite his international football success.
“This means a lot to us,” one beneficiary said. “Having something to do will change our lives, and we are grateful to Samuel for his kindness and heart.”
The footballer, known for his flair on the pitch and love for the game, has now scored a goal off the pitch—touching lives and inspiring the youth.
Chukwueze, who currently plies his trade in Italy with AC Milan, has continued to grow in stature both as a footballer and as a humanitarian, further cementing his place not just in Nigerian football, but in the hearts of many back home.
