The Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, has strongly condemned the actions of controversial social media influencer and content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, following her announcement of plans to engage in what she described as a “24-hour sex marathon.” The monarch, in an open letter addressed to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urged the state government to take decisive action by ordering the arrest of the influencer, stressing that her actions constitute public nuisance and pose serious moral, health, and social concerns.
Mandy Kiss had earlier stunned her followers on Instagram when she shared a promotional flier bearing the Guinness World Records (GWR) logo, claiming she would attempt to break a world record by sleeping with one hundred men within a single day. According to her post, the supposed record-breaking event was scheduled to take place on October 30, 2025, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, though she did not disclose the specific venue. Her announcement immediately went viral across social media, sparking outrage, disbelief, and a flurry of condemnations from Nigerians across different walks of life.
The Guinness World Records organization, however, swiftly distanced itself from the claim. Responding to a viral tweet that showcased Mandy’s flier, GWR clarified that it does not monitor or recognize such categories, dismissing her announcement as baseless. Despite this rejection, Mandy Kiss has insisted on going ahead with her plan, further inflaming public anger.
Reacting to the development, Oba Akinyemi expressed deep disappointment, saying Mandy Kiss’s actions not only bring shame to her immediate family but also embarrass Ogun State, Lagos State, and the entire country. In his open letter to Governor Sanwo-Olu, the monarch wrote that it was “disheartening to see a Yoruba girl from my dear state, Ogun State, popularly known as ‘Mandy Kiss,’ on social media planning to embarrass her parents, local government area, and state before the entire world by showing readiness to have sex with one hundred men within twenty-four hours in Ikorodu, Lagos State.” He further asked if Mandy truly understood the dangerous physical and psychological implications of such an act, warning that the police could find themselves forced to intervene if anything tragic occurred during the event.
Oba Akinyemi stressed that the appropriate step was for the government to order her immediate arrest before the proposed date, describing her behavior as a “public nuisance” and a threat to the moral fabric of society. The monarch went further to suggest that Mandy should be subjected to a drug test and possibly psychiatric evaluation, as her actions displayed signs of instability or the influence of illicit substances. “The arrant nonsense she is doing is really showing that she may be under the influence of drugs,” the monarch stated, while recommending the involvement of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to carry out an assessment.
The Eselu also called on the government to consider sending Mandy Kiss back to her parents in Ogun State after her arrest, where the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, could then facilitate her placement in a rehabilitation or psychiatric center. According to him, such measures would not only serve as corrective steps for Mandy herself but would also send a strong message to other young people contemplating similar acts of public indecency.
In his statement, the monarch emphasized that Lagos State, being not only a commercial hub but also the home state of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, should not allow such conduct to tarnish its image. He noted that for decades Lagos has been at the forefront of culture, development, and international recognition, and that permitting individuals to stage disgraceful stunts in the name of social media fame undermines the reputation the state has built.
Oba Akinyemi did not stop at addressing Mandy’s actions alone; he used the opportunity to highlight broader concerns about youth behavior on social media. He warned that unregulated immoral content and reckless behavior online could encourage more young people to engage in social vices. The monarch stressed that the federal government must strengthen control mechanisms to protect young Nigerians from the influence of unhealthy trends that prioritize shock value over decency and integrity.
