Gospel artists Nathaniel Bassey and Victoria Orenze have honored American conservative activist and media figure Charlie Kirk with heartfelt tributes.
Kirk tragically lost his life on September 10, 2025, while addressing an audience at Utah Valley University.
The incident took place around 12:20 p.m. during an event held in a student courtyard that was fortified by six university personnel.
Bassey expressed his condolences through prayer, captioning: “Saddened. Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk,” whereas Orenze hailed him as a true warrior for Christ.
She posted on Instagram: “TRUTH IS UNDEFEATABLE! TRUTH IS UNSTOPPABLE! TRUTH IS UNQUENCHABLE!
“Charlie Kirk, a genuine soldier of CHRIST, is with THE TRUTH (JESUS CHRIST)!!! What an honor!
“Satan, for every attempt you make, an army emerges instead! WE STAND STRONG!!!!!
“His spouse, children, and family are embraced by the comforting presence of the HOLY SPIRIT in JESUS’ name!
The 31-year-old was a devoted supporter of former President Donald Trump and played a crucial part in mobilizing young Republican voters via his organization, Turning Point USA.
Trump commanded that flags be flown at half-mast in Kirk’s remembrance and criticized the “radical left” for the incident.
Kirk’s passing has incited widespread anger and sorrow, with tributes flooding in from around the globe.
Authorities are continuing their search for the individual responsible, with surveillance footage of the suspect available.
The FBI and ATF are contributing to the investigation, and Utah Governor Spencer Cox has hinted at the possible application of capital punishment.
