Armed bandits have abducted a well-known transporter, Muihili Adebayo, in Ondo State, killing his son and shooting his wife during an attack on their home in the Shagari area of Owo Local Government Area on Wednesday, April 2.
Adebayo, who plies the Akure-Lagos route, was reportedly ambushed and taken by the gunmen. His wife was shot after she attempted to resist the attackers and is currently in a coma at the hospital.

“She is currently recovering in a private hospital, but the boy d!ed on the spot. The mother sustained a bullet wound to her hand but managed to escape” a family source said
The state police command is yet to comment on the incident.
